Silver Wings on Mankeelin sähköpotkulauta, ja sen muotoilusta on vastannut F.A. Porsche design studio. Muotoilullisesti laudassa on testaajan mielestä uniikkia ja hillittyä tyylikkyyttä, mutta se voi myös jakaa mielipiteitä. Tästä laudasta löytyy netistä testejä varsin vähän.
Ulkoisessa tarkastelussa laudan yleinen laatuvaikutelma on niin sanotusti ok. Muotoilun osalta laudassa on joitakin uniikkeja ja erottuvia piirteitä. Ulkonäköä voisi kuvailla pelkistetyn linjakkaaksi. Ensivaikutelmaa heikentää aavistuksen muovinen visuaalinen ja laadullinen vaikutelma. Lauta vaikuttaa samaan aikaan erittäin kevyeltä, mutta toisaalta rungoltaan hyvin jämäkältä.
Ensituntuma ajossa on yllättävän hyvä. Lauta tuntuu samaan aikaan erittäin kevyeltä, mutta kuitenkin tukevalta ja vakaalta. Laudan 350W moottori kuljettaa lautaa tasaisesti noin 85 -kiloisen kuljettajan alla, mutta kiihtyvyyttä ei voi luonnehtia mitenkään ripeäksi. Laudan suhteellisen pieni moottoriteho huomioiden lauta kuitenkin kulkee odotusten mukaisesti. Nousuissa nopeus alenee ja etenkin jyrkemmissä nousuissa jouheva eteneminen tarvitsee ainakin painavammalta kuljettajalta avuksi potkuttelua, jolloin nopeus tuntuu pysyvän riittävänä.
Niin laudan ohjaustanko kuin ohjaus kokonaisuudessaankin tuntuvat hyvin jämäkiltä. Ohjaustanko tuntuu korkeutensa puolesta soveltuvan eri pituisille kuljettajille. Lauta rullaa todella hyvin alamäkeen sekä tasaisella alustalla. Laudan 10 tuumaiset ilmarenkaat myös vaimentavat erilaisia tien pinnan epätasaisuuksia hämmästyttävän hyvin ja antavat poikkeuksellisen hyvin anteeksi laudasta muutoin puuttuvaa iskunvaimennusta. Lauta on varsin miellyttävä ajaa kävelykadun kivetyksellä ja jopa jalkakäytävän madalletun korotuksen ylityksessä ilmarenkaat vaimentavat tärähdystä niin, ettei se tunnu lainkaan häiritsevältä. Laudan visuaalisesta muovisesta vaikutelmasta huolimatta, siitä ei epätasaisellakaan alustalla kuulunut minkäänlaista räminää. Myös muovinen takalokari tuntui hyvin kestävän siitä vanhasta tottumuksesta vahingossa jalalla otetut muutamat takanojat.
Laudan lokarit tuntuivat suojaavan hyvin kuljettajaa roiskeilta kostealla pinnalla ajettaessa. Laudan latauspistokkeen sijainti rungossa etulokarin takana ei ole optimaalinen, mikä ilmeni latauspistokkeen ympäristön kerättyä runsaasti etulokasuojan alta lentäneitä roiskeita. Latauspistokkeen kumisuojan ollessa on ehjä, tämä ei liene suuri ongelma, mutta suojan mahdollisesti rikkoutuessa tai ollessa pois paikaltaan, voi latauspistokkeeseen mahdollisesti päästä likaa. Suojan ehjyyttä ja paikallaan oloa kannattanee aika-ajoin tarkkailla.
Näytön visuaalinen laatuvaikutelma on keskimääräinen. Aasian mallissa on tällä hetkellä sovellustuki, jolla lautaan saadaan joitakin lisäominaisuuksia, mutta ainakaan vielä tätä mallia ei ole saatavilla Euroopassa.
Pidempiaikaisessa käytössä laudan muovisen takalokasuojan yläpuoli välttämättäkin kerää naarmuja jalan aika-ajoin hakeutuessa sinne vaistomaisesti. Samoin mittariston näytön muovisuojan ympäristössä on ajan saatossa havaittavissa sävyeroja, mikä entisestään heikentää hieman näytön ja laudan laatuvaikutelmaa.
Laudassa on hieman puutteellisesti toteutettu se, että taitettaessa ohjaustanko, tarkalleen ottaen mittariston näytön muovipinta ottaa kiinni takalokariin. Ajan saatossa tästä aiheutuu tarpeettomasti hankausjälkiä niin takalokariin kuin itse näytön pintaankin. Etenkin jos lautaa kuljettaa taitettuna, kannattaa ehdottomasti tuohon näytön ja takalokarin väliin laittaa jokin suoja, niin välttyy kenties tarpeettomista naarmuilta.
Speedster testiraati tiivistää, että testin perusteella lauta on varsin kätevä vaihtoehto lyhyille ja suhteellisen tasaisen tieprofiilin matkoille. Sen keveys tekee siitä myös vaihtoehdon esimerkiksi lyhyisiin työmatka-ajoihin, koska lautaa on helppo myös kantaa jos siihen on tarvetta. Toki tämän laudan mukana saa myös uniikkia Porshen suunnittelemaa muotoilua. Koeajossa laudan akkua koeteltiin ajamalla sillä vain muutaman asteen lämpötilassa mäkisellä ja kostealla hiekkapohjaisella alustalla. Akkua oli jäljellä 1 palkki noin 20 km matkan jälkeen. Huomioiden koeajon olosuhteet ja kuljettajan paino, voidaan päätellä, ettei laudan enimmäiskantama optimaalisemmissa olosuhteissa välttämättä jää kovin kauaksi valmistajan ilmoittamasta 30 km matkasta.
Lauta on ulkoisesti erottuva ja varsin tyylikäs vaihtoehto päivittäiskäyttöön. Laudan laatuvaikutelma on varsin keskinkertainen, mutta hinta huomioiden lauta on ihan varteenotettava vaihtoehto hintaluokassaan.
